Fascinated by light, translucency and shadow, Miranda uses these to enhance her performative artworks; like crossfades in a film. Inspired by storytelling, old family photos, artists such as Boltanski, and playwrights like Beckett, Miranda creates her own take on visual narratives.
The passing of time is integral to Miranda's work, as she projects 35mm slides onto people, captured as final images with a digital camera.
There is a sense of past and present colliding in the final images.
